These commands apply to objects that are selected.
The Snap to Previous Object command is used to eliminate gaps or "jump" distances between objects.
The Flip Vertically command mirrors selected objects across the horizontal axis.
The Flip Horizontally command mirrors selected objects across the vertical axis.
The Rotate Left command rotates selected objects 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
The Rotate Right command rotates selected objects 90 degrees clockwise.
Note: Apply Rotation to Fill Stitches option. When this option is enabled, the stitch angles for cover stitches and zig-zag underlays in Fill objects are automatically adjusted whenever the object is rotated or mirrored. This setting affects several operations, including standard rotation, flipping, cornering, and auto-repeat functions. If disabled, the stitch angles remain fixed regardless of the object's orientation.
The Transform Objects window provides precise numerical control for transformations such as movement, rotation, skewing, and resizing. These operations can also be performed interactively within the Work Area or via the Object Inspector window.
The Bring to Center command is particularly helpful if you need to position design in the hoop center with absolute precision.
The Center Vertically and Center Horizontally commands align selected objects precisely along their respective axes.
The Expand Objects command increases the size of selected objects by offsetting their contours. This is specifically designed to create a constant-width overlay (overlap) between adjacent objects to prevent gaps during sewing. This offset method produces a different geometric result than standard proportional enlargement.
The Shrink Objects command reduces the dimensions of selected objects by offsetting the contours inward. This is useful for adjusting openings in fills to create a proper overlay between the opening and the object covering it.
The Reduce Nodes Number function simplifies the vector path by removing unnecessary nodes based on a "Simplicity" parameter. This is primarily used to smooth lettering or objects with distorted edges that contain too many nodes for efficient manual editing.
The Envelope command allows you to distort and shape selected objects using envelope curves, providing creative control over the object's geometry.
