Main Menu

The Main Menu Panel contains a combination of controls such as menu items, buttons, and combo boxes. It is context-sensitive, which means that its content changes according to the actual working mode.

The most important working modes are: #1 Selection/Transform, #2 Node Editing, and #3 Lettering. The items of the main menu in these modes are described in detail in their respective chapters, including this one.

In other working modes, this panel contains only a few controls like the Cancel button, the Apply button, etc., and its usage is intuitive.

Mode #3 - Lettering

This mode is activated when you start text typing or editing.

The menu panel in Lettering mode contains the following menu items and buttons:

Menu Items

• Tools - Undo/Redo changes. Load/Save lettering. Paste text from the clipboard. Stop lettering mode.
• Font - Scan fonts (not applicable to Alphabets). Font styles like Bold, Italic, Vertical, and Other Side.
• Nodes - Baseline nodes operations like Insert, Delete, etc.

Note: Scanning of fonts searches fonts installed in the operating system, and also non-installed fonts in folders and archives defined in lettering settings

Buttons

Stop and cancel Lettering Mode.

Finish Lettering Mode.

Finish Lettering Mode and generate stitches for the letters.

Combo box: text alignment

Combo box: sewing order of characters

Combo box: fill and outline kind

Combo box: connection stitches
