Parameters - Connection

These parameters apply only to selected objects that are Connection objects. Refer to the detailed Connections chapter to learn more about connection objects.

The Maximum and Minimum Length have the same meaning as on the Manual Stitches object.

Connections are automatically adjusted when objects are moved or otherwise transformed to prevent the insertion of a jump (trim).

The Jumps option allows the user to create controlled jump stitches between objects. If objects are too close to one another, it may be hard to remove the tiny jump stitch between them (left picture). The user can create a connection with the jumps option between objects to achieve controlled jumps that are longer and easier to remove.
