The Measurement Tool is designed to calculate precise distances and angles within an embroidery design. Users can create either one or two measuring lines; when two lines are active, the tool also determines the angle between them. All measured values are displayed in real-time on the main control panel.
Access the Measurement Tool via the Tool Box.
To begin measuring, click the Measurement Tool button in the toolbox.
Place the first point anywhere within the Work Area, then place the second point to define the line. These points can be selected and repositioned just like nodes in the standard creation or editing modes.
The main control panel provides the following data based on your points:
The tool also supports a three-point configuration to form two lines. Place a third point in the work area to measure the specific angle between two distinct embroidery objects. In this configuration, the value labeled (5) represents the angle between the two lines.
Please note that values (1) through (4) refer to the currently highlighted line, while (5) consistently refers to the angle shared between both lines.
