Software installation is the procedure of transferring and configuring a software program or application on a computer or device, enabling it for use. This process usually consists of several steps to ensure the software is set up correctly: 1. Acquiring the Software, 2. Running the Installer, 3. Selecting Installation Options, 4. Installation Execution, 5. Completing the Process, 6. Launching the Software. In summary, software installation encompasses the entire process of transferring a program from its source (download, disc, etc.) onto your device and configuring it for use.
This tutorial explains how to install and run Embird. It is assumed that the user is logged into Windows as an Administrator, and all other settings are left at their default values, including the User Account Control setting (UAC). Also, it is assumed that you have already received an e-mail from us with a PIN for quick registration, or that a PASSWORD.KLC file containing your passwords is stored on a USB memory key and this key is connected to the PC, so the file is visible as, for example, an "F:\PASSWORD.KLC" file.
Note: Before you start installing Embird and/or its plug-ins, please find out the type of your Windows. It is either a 32-bit or 64-bit version. Download the appropriate installation file for the main Embird program and optional plug-ins from https://www.embird.net/download.htm.
1 - Find out which version of Windows you have on your PC - right-click the "Computer" icon on your Desktop and select the "Properties" menu (Picture No. 1).

If you have a 32-bit Operating System (almost all Windows XP, some Windows Vista and Windows 7) then it is possible to install only 32-bit Embird.
