Projecting on Sphere

Embird Embroidery Software Tutorial

1 - Run Embird and click "Editor" menu to switch to Editor window.

2 - Select the design which you want to project on the sphere (Picture No. 1).

3 - Select "Edit > Set > Envelope" menu to set the shape of selected design (Picture No. 2).

4 - A dialog box will appear on the screen, allowing you to change the shape of selected design (Picture No. 3).

5 - Make sure that "Envelope" check box is switched ON. Choose "Projection on Sphere" option (Picture No. 4). Notice two blue small square handles (3 and 4 in Picture No. 4), allowing you to move the sphere (3) and change its size (4).

6 - Move handles to change the position and size of the sphere (Picture No. 5).

7 - Finally, click "OK" button to apply the new envelope and put modified design into Editor window.

8 - It is possible to apply the projection effect also to lettering created via Insert Text, Insert Font Engine or Insert Ready-Made Alphabets text (Picture No. 7). Switch ON the "Envelope" check box and make the projection on the "Layout" tab while creating the lettering and only then click "OK" button to create the lettering.
