Open Brother PR-1000 Jumbo Frame Design

Embird Embroidery Software Tutorial

1 - Run Embird and click the "Editor" menu to switch to the Editor window.

2 - Click the "Hoop Size" button, or select the "Options > Hoop Size" menu (Picture No. 1).

1. Select the "Options > Hoop Size" menu

3 - Choose the "Brother PR-1000 Jumbo Frame (overlap, 360 x 360 mm) - Horizontal" option (Picture No. 2). The typical orientation is horizontal, with two overlapping sections. The vertical orientation works the same way as the horizontal does; the parts are simply automatically rotated by -90 degrees when loading/saving from/to the hard disk. Confirm the hoop selection by clicking the "OK" button.

2. Choose the right hoop

4 - Click the "File" menu and choose the "Merge" command. The "Merge Files" dialog box will appear on the screen (Picture No. 3). Select the file you want to open. You can select multiple files at once (e.g., by holding down the SHIFT key when clicking on a filename).

3. Merge files

5 - Embird will ask you about the position in the hoop for every file being merged into the Editor. If you are opening files that were prepared in Embird, you can deduce the position from the filename displayed in the bar at the top of the window. In this example, it is the "web_2.pec" file, and it should be placed into section 2 (bottom, as specified by the last character of the filename) of the hoop (Picture No. 4).

6 - Repeat steps 4 and 5 for every part. You can select multiple files in the "Merge Files" dialog box.

4. Choose hoop section

7 - Sometimes it might be necessary to change the sew order of objects. Drag and drop objects in the Objects Order Bar so that their sew order is correct (Picture No. 5).

5. Check composed design

8 - Now you can save the complete design into a single PES file as shown in the other tutorial: Save Brother PR-1000 Jumbo Frame Design.
