Parent/Descendant Track

Embird Embroidery Software Tutorial

This tutorial explains how to use the Parent/Descendant Track feature.

1 - Run Embird.

2 - Switch ON the option "Options > Settings > Keep Parent/Descendant Track" (Picture No. 1).

1. Switch ON the option "Options > Settings > Keep Parent/Descendant Track"

3 - Select some file, "hedera1.dst" in this example (Picture No. 2).

4 - Convert this file to other format, e.g. to .hus

2. Select some file, convert it to other format

5 - Check the Descendant button. It is now enabled and allows to quickly browse to descendant of selected file, i.e. to "hedera1.hus" (Picture No. 3).

3. Click the Descendant button

6 - Check the Parent button. It is now enabled and allows to quickly browse to parent of selected file, i.e. to "hedera1.dst" (Picture No. 4).

4. Click the Parent button

Note: The information about parent/descendant track is stored in EMBIRD.TAG file located in "User Data Folder".
