This tutorial explains how to create a new monotone contour design with a few clicks.
1 - Run Embird and click the "Editor" menu to switch to the Editor window.
2 - Click the "Surprise Me!" button to insert a randomly generated background image into the Editor (Picture No. 1).

3 - Select the "Image > Expand/Shrink Color Areas" menu (Picture No. 2).

4 - Specify a negative value to shrink color areas to separate them (Picture No. 3).

5 - Convert color areas in the background image to contours (Picture No. 4).

6 - Click the "Monotone" button to obtain a redwork-style design (Picture No. 5).
