1 - Run Embird and click the "Editor" menu to switch to the Editor window.
2 - Select the "Insert > Text" menu or the "Insert > Font Engine Text" menu (Picture No. 1).

3 - The "Insert Text" dialog box will appear on the screen. In the "Plug-in" box, choose the alphabet that will be used for the calendar characters.
4 - Click the "Insert Calendar" button located at the right side of the "Text" box (Picture No. 2).

5 - The "Insert Calendar" dialog box will appear on the screen (Picture No. 3). Choose the month and year, specify holidays (except Sundays), and choose the type of calendar. Specify the maximum width and height of the "day" cell, i.e., the size of the cell which contains the date. Finally, hit the "OK" button to create the calendar.
3. Modify calendar properties
6 - Embird will create the calendar using the chosen alphabet. After a while, the complete design will be inserted into the Editor window (Picture No. 4).
7 - Use the "File > Save As" command to save the whole design to a file on your disk. Specify the format and the file name of the new design in the dialog boxes which appear on the screen.
